I volunteer with a group called the Clean Tech Open, a proven and successful non-profit that transforms a clean tech concept into a viable business. Yesteday, we met with Colorado Governor Bill Ritter and he made some amazing statements about our competition and what we can do for the future of America.

The Clean Tech Open really helps to inspire the world to look at Colorado, the West and the United States of America for a different energy and environmental future for our kids and our grandkids," Ritter said.

I feel so excited to be working in an industry that is just taking off and really making a differernce in the world. It reminds me a little bit like the old days, when telecomm was on fire in the mid-90s. Only this time, it's not about making money, it's about saving the Earth and reestablishing the United States as a global market leader. It's really something to watch.

We're planning to announce the Rocky Mountain regional finalists in the next week. I'll keep you posted.
